The Magician Mechanics of Cuba

I traveled to Cuba with a class to report on arts and culture and worked with a colleague to create this video story about mechanics in the country. Mechanics must be resourceful to keep cars 50 or more years old alive with limited tools and parts. I shot much of the video, edited using Adobe Premiere and added all subtitles.

Interview with new Edmonds School District Superintendent

Just before I graduated Mountlake Terrace High School, I had the opportunity to interview the newly-appointed superintendent, Kris McDuffy, when she visited. In our conversation, she addressed budget concerns, student voice and being accessible to the community, among other topics related to her philosophy on education.
